The TQUK Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration aims to develop and give recognition of learners’ knowledge, understanding and competence of working relevant to business administration work roles. The qualification is suitable for learners working in a wide variety of business administrative roles such as: administration executives/officers, administration team leaders, personal assistants and secretaries, including legal or medical secretaries.

These skills include the use of software packages, analysing and presenting business documents and managing projects as well as communication, team working, interpersonal skills and the ability to reflect on personal learning. There are no specific entry requirements however learners should have a minimum of level two in literacy and numeracy or equivalent. The qualification is suitable for learners of 16 years of age and above. However, it is likely that learners will have experience in a business or administration role although this is not a formal requirement.
You can start this course at any time, and you would be registered for a one year period. You also have access to a personal tutor who can be contacted through the online platform or by email. Your tutor is available to assist with any queries and to mark your assignments for the Awarding Organisation.
This course assesses your knowledge with a variety of end-of-unit assignments. These assignments will be submitted to your tutor for feedback, facilitating your learning and progression. The qualification is assessed by internally set and marked assessments subject to external quality assurance. All learning outcomes and assessment criteria must be met to achieve a pass - there is no grading.
As the course is self-study, you can complete it as quickly as you like. Support extensions are available if students do not complete the course within the one-year period
Learners who achieve this qualification can progress to a variety of other apprenticeship qualifications in management or customer service such as the Level 3 Diploma in Management or Level 3 Diploma in Customer Service and/or to job roles at managerial/ supervisory level.
